& Benefits

Membership

Our annual membership fee is €40 per individual or €70 per couple, valid for the calendar year (January to December). Please note that our membership is not based on a rolling 12-month period, however, anyone joining in November, their membership will run until the end of the following year.

All members must hold a valid Cycling Ireland membership. This provides personal accident cover and public liability insurance, covering potential incidents when solo-riding, group spins, sportives, and other cycling activities.

For further details on insurance types and details see here. Members must ensure they have the correct level of cover for their planned activities i.e. leisure vs racing.

Benefits

Winter Training

Winter is a great time to try out other groups — whether you’re looking to step things up or ease off a little during the colder months. Do whatever works best for you.

We also run weekly alternative training sessions, such as Yoga and Strength & Conditioning classes, which have proven very popular.

Social Spins

A few times a year, we organise club-wide social spins — shorter, more relaxed rides with a gentle pace and a coffee or food stop at the end.

They’re a great way for members across all groups to ride together, take a break from the usual routine, and enjoy a bit of craic along the way.

Social Nights

Our social nights have become legendary! At least once a quarter, we meet up for a few drinks and plenty of laughs.

As a sociable bunch, there are also loads of opportunities to team up for summer sportives around Ireland.

Annual Club Away Trips

We typically run two club trips per year:

  • One longer trip (around 6 nights) to a European cycling destination
  • One weekend getaway within Ireland

In recent years, we’ve travelled to Tenerife, Mallorca, Spain, Portugal, Wales, and Dungarvan — with riders of all levels taking part and having a brilliant time.

Skills Session & Bike Maintenance

We run regular skills sessions and bike maintenance workshops using local expertise — often from within our own club. They’re a great way to build confidence, pick up practical tips, and keep your bike running smoothly.

Shaped by our Members

We listen to what our members want and shape the club around that. From nutrition talks and skills workshops to charity events and group trips to sportives, our benefits evolve with the people in the club.
