You can choose the group that suits your pace and the kind of ride you want. Distances, pace and elevation vary a little by route, weather and season — these are friendly guidelines.
During the brighter months, we run additional evening spins focused on fitness, consistency, and getting a solid ride done after work.
From late spring through mid-autumn, we run 50 km spins on Tuesday evenings, usually with up to three pace groups.
These rides tend to be a bit faster-paced due to the shorter distance and typically don’t include stops.
Best suited to riders comfortable riding steadily in a group.
On selected Thursdays, we run hill repeat sessions on Howth Hill. Riders go at their own pace and regroup regularly.
Groups usually regroup at the Summit car park every 10–15 minutes, making it a flexible and inclusive session.
A great way to build climbing strength over the summer.
🔒 Tuesday and Thursday spins are open to members only and aren’t suitable as try-out spins.
Our group spin routes are carefully planned by captains, taking into account the weather, traffic, road quality, and any potential hazards. Routes are tailored to suit the fitness and skill levels of each group and each group rides as fast as the slowest rider – no one is left behind!
Each group ride is typically led by a designated ride captain who helps ensure safety, keeps the group together, and offers direction throughout the spin.
